The RideCare Companion effectively protects the driver from attacks, the goods from attempted theft and the vehicle from vandalism. As soon as the driver perceives a danger to himself, the goods or the vehicle, they can press the wireless SOS button. This automatically establishes a live connection to a Bosch employee, who can monitor the interior of the vehicle via audio and video stream. In case of an emergency, the Bosch employee can use the GPS signal to send the authorities directly to the location of the vehicle. This service is available 24/7.
In case of litigation, the RideCare Companion provides reliable video material both from the vehicle interior and from the external environment in front of the vehicle. All data is labeled with a location and time stamp.
By avoiding theft and vandalism, as well as by increasing legal security due to video evidence, you can decrease the cost of operation.

In the event of an incident, Bosch employees can look directly into the vehicle interior and assess the situation. In addition, the location of the vehicle is displayed. Depending on the situation, Bosch employees can then give instructions for immediate support or inform the authorities if necessary.
Video evidence
All video data is provided with location and time stamps and can be used as evidence in case of litigation. Reliable cloud data can then help to clear up misunderstandings.
Interior and exterior camera
The interior camera automatically records the insight of the vehicle. During the night, the camera uses infrared technology to clearly show the vehicle interior, even if lighting conditions are not optimal. The exterior camera picks up the environment in front of the vehicle through the windshield. Using AI algorithms, the system detects if the camera is turned away or the view is obscured, thus ensuring usable video recordings.
